This Privacy Policy explains how Lanta Homes ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website, in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA"). By using the site or contacting us through it, you agree to the practices described here.

Who is responsible for your data

Lanta Homes is the data controller for the information collected through this site. For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights below, contact us at hello@lanta.homes or via our contact page.

What we collect

• Enquiry details you submit through our forms: your name, email address, optional phone number, and the message you send.
• The property an enquiry relates to, so we can answer you in context.
• Essential site preferences stored only in your browser: your chosen colour theme and your cookie/consent choice. These never leave your device.

We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your enquiry details for one purpose: to respond to you and to help with buying, renting or listing a property on Koh Lanta. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the enquiry form. Where a relationship develops, we may also process data to take steps at your request prior to a contract.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is shared only with the Lanta Homes agent handling it. We use a self-hosted content system (Directus) to store enquiries securely. We do not share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. We may disclose data if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights under the PDPA

Subject to the PDPA, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• request that your data be deleted or that its use be restricted;
• object to processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time - withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out;
• lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.
